She don't smile too much
But when she does, it's just enough to make you smile back
She don't cry too much
But when she does. it's just enough to make you feel bad
But when she does, it's just enough to make you smile back
She don't cry too much
But when she does. it's just enough to make you feel bad
Sometimes we can find little to smile about. I used to think that smiles were easy, and for the most part they are. But do we have enough reasons to smile about these days? I've talked before about how crying can be a cathartic experience and sometimes, you just need to empty the tank before you can move forward again. Have we run out of things to cry about? If you keep vrying over the same things, does that mean that you haven't learned your lesson? It is up to us how we react and respond to issues, to people. to challenges that continue to bombard us on a daily basis. Why do people only think about the pain they cause after the fact?
She got dreams to be seen on screens by everyone
But underneath, truly, just wants to be known by anyone
She's in the fast lane, making big waves
So there's no time for her heart
Can't slow down now
When we look at social media allows for people to turn into trolls and become keyboard warriors, it is any wonder that people would feel comfortable to share anything remotely personal about their lives. In my experience, I have found that the times when I actually want to be alone and hide away, I keep getting thrust in the spotlight. Sometimes we can become oblivious to what is happening and we can never really tell who to trust, who to surround yourself with. How are you supposed to make time for matters of the heart when your heart only beats to ensure everyone else around you i sok? We cannot stop or slow down, otherwise we lose the momentum we are creating.
She said it's easier to be an actress
Call me insane or call me an addict
But like champagne when it touches my lips
I can choose who I wanna be
Yeah, it's easier to be an actress
Fresh tear stains are found on the mattress
Hide my pain, I can never admit
That I'm sick of all this
But nuh-uh, it's easier to be an actress
Yeah, oh whoa
You spend time making things easier for everyone else. Why do you subject yourself to be treated in this way? We allow ourselves to be taken for granted, we allow ourselves to lose our way when we need to stay focused and keep pushing. Do you know who you want to be? The constant state of becoming can only be a true authentic experience when you've done all the hard to make things happen. Why can we never admit to the pain we are feeling? Well, you can't. Not if you're the strong one. Not if you're the one that keeps it altogether, thinking harder, working harder, putting yourself out so that others can thrive.
She don't fall in love
Cause that would mean gotta let 'em see behind the mask, oh
And she don't know enough
About how beautiful she is without all the magic tricks that she's hiding
Do you trust people enough to let them see behind your mask? How many times have you heard someone say that they know you better than anybody? That they know you better than you know yourself? If we let it, we let the self doubt creep in and start to believe the negative self talk that swirls around in our heads. What more do we need to know? If people really know you as they claim, they would see the brilliance and the beauty of you without all the magic tricks that you hide in your arsenal. If you have to fall in love, do it on your own terms - not because society dictates it or people around you think they know what's best for you.
And she got dreams to be seen on screens by everyone
But underneath, truly, just wants to be close to anyone
But you gotta fake it 'til you make it
So there's no time to be real
an't slow down now
How many times have you had to fake it till you make it? Sometimes the reverse can be true, where you have all the skills in the world, but you are never given the opportunity to flex. So why stick around where you are not appreciated? Why the need to prove yourself to anybody anyway? We forget that what we might think is real, is just too much for others to accept. When people want you to be fake, you have to hide your realness. This is the reality we live in now - the world of spin, both in the world and within ourselves. How do you let your perspective get to the right place, get to the right people?

Oh year
It's easier, mmmm
We don't need to figure things out. I can tell you that sometimes your best plans can be waylaid because there are other bigger and brighter things in store for you. Expect nothing and accept everything. We cannot be selective about what happens to us - we need to confront it and learn from it. If we want to repeat the experiences, replicate them. If you don't want to repeat the experiences, learn how not to go down those roads again. When you arrive at a point where you are not only sick of it, but are willing to do something about it, you will know that you are ready to move on. So you decide my friend Whether or not you want to be an actress. . .
