Don't stop til you get enough. . .

Keep on with the force don't stop. . .

Lovely is the feeling now
Fever temperatures rising now
Power ah power
is the force the vow
That makes it happen
It asks no questions why ooh
So get closer closer now
To my body now
Just love me
Till you don't know how ooh

I grew up on this song.
Granted I was only two years old when it was released but it is one of the few songs that has traveled with me throughout my life.  There are quite a few memories wrapped up in this song and the nostalgia has been a faithful friend when people have come and gone from my life - whether they wanted to leave or not.  I think this is the power of music and the force that it can have in your life.  What are some of the lovely feelings that you continue to hold onto in your own life?
Whether we chose to learn about dance music in clubs or events that played dance music, you can't go past the idea of feeling good and expressing yourself freely through dance.  I think this is probably why I appreciate dance so much in its various expressions, and why I love to dance whenever I get the chance.  Have you ever been close enough to someone that you don't know how to how to get any closer?  Or know how to be anymore in love?  Those are the lovely feelings that we should never forget.

Keep on
with the force don't stop
Don't stop til you get enough
Keep on
with the force don't stop
Don't stop til you get enough
Keep on
with the force don't stop
Don't stop til you get enough
Keep on
with the force don't stop
Don't stop til you get enough

What is the driving force that you shouldn't let stop in your life?
Is it yourself?  Is it other around you?  Is it something invisible that you can't see but know is there?
Fear helps to uncover the force that is within you, that innate sense of self that galvanises into an unwavering sense of self belief.  It is devoid of arrogance and ignorance, but is more so wrapped up in an innocent and overflowing joy that shows itself to be contagious and infectious.  It is your inner energy that people find hard to be away from, that people crave to be around, because quite frankly, you don't know any other way to be.  If you are constantly doubting yourself and your heaven sent abilities, it's actually time to stop engaging in that.  You might be thinking, it's too hard to be positive because there is so much negative that surrounds you.  That only lasts for a little while, and only so much as you give your energy to it.  Instead, focus on positive solutions and chip away by working hard on things that you can do to change your situation.

Touch me and I feel on fire
Ain't nothing like a love desire
Hoo I'm melting I'm melting
like hot candle wax
Sensation ah sensation
lovely where we're at ooh
So let love
take us through the hours
I won't be complaining aw
Cause this love is power ooh

I'm not sure whether it's because the lyrics of this song were just so hard to learn as a young child, or whether Michael's vocals being so high that just made the lyrics indecipherable too, but the combination made it definitely harder!  When was the last time that you melted like hot candle wax? Was it under some pressure that you didn't anticipate being under?  A situation that allowed you to step up and just completely forget everything you had ever thought or believed in?  We should no longer be complaining about what we see around us that brings us down.  Instead focus on bringing the change that we want, being the change that we want.

Keep on
with the force don't stop
Don't stop til you get enough
Keep on
with the force don't stop
Don't stop til you get enough
Keep on
with the force don't stop
Don't stop til you get enough
Keep on
with the force don't stop
Don't stop til you get enough

I hope that you don't stop til you get enough.
There should never be any times that you stop because someone told you that you should, especially if you were told to stop honouring your gifts, talents or your calling that was made with you in mind.
That insatiable feeling that you have is something that might never go away, but if the passion that you have to fulfil whatever quest or mission that you find yourself on leads you onto discover bigger dreams, then why deny yourself?  We should only bear in mind, that if we have so much love and power within us that is given to us from above, then there's only thing for it.  I don't know about you, but it totally makes perfect sense to me to just keep on with the force don't stop. . .

To be loved by you. . .

To be loved by you is like a breeze Like the summer rain falling through the trees Like the waves that's crashing on the seas, it's easy To be loved by you is like a song Playing in your head you can dance along Like running away with the dawn, it's easy Like flowers bloom, Like my love for you It's been a long time between blog posts. So much has happened since I last reflected about life around me through music. If you have read my blog posts before, then you would know that you are meant to play the YouTube clip (see below) while you read.  I stumbled across this new song that was released today. It's Anzac Day in Aotearoa New Zealand so it's also an opportune time to reflect on the service of our countrymen for peace in previous wars. There is something oddly familiar and comforting about this melody, this song. The whole vibe drew me in and I've always been a huge Emily King fan. Are you currently with someone who helps you feel this way? What is it lik...

Masterpiece (Mona Lisa). . .

My eyes ain't used to these rays I'm feeling exposed but I hide no more I can't hide As the sun shines on all of my glory My flaws don't look so bad at all What was I so afraid of? No matter how hard you try to hide, or try to be inconspicuous, it doesn't make a damn bit of difference. Trying to be lowkey when you are on high profile horizons is ridiculous. When your skills, gifts and talents thrust you into the spotlight, you know that you have a responsibility to do your best at all times, because it is no longer about you - it is about who you represent. You might be afraid that your failures and trauma, including your human flaws will all be on display for the world to see - but who has not lived an imperfect life? Why are we afraid of being exposed? Society teaches us to conform and be uniform. Sometimes all we need to do is insist on being comfortable with all our decisions, no matter where they lead us or where we were placed - because our flaws aren't as...
